My name is Kathleen Delaney, and for the past 17 years I have had the privilege of serving as your District Court Judge in Department 25 of the Eighth Judicial District Court.

I have been a practicing attorney since 1990. I was first elected to the District Court in 2008 and took the bench in Department 25 on January 5, 2009. Since that time I have proudly served the citizens of Clark County by overseeing one of the most varied court dockets in the District Court.

After my initial assignment to Civil and Business Court matters, I was asked by our Court Administration to oversee all of the Adult Specialty Courts, including Drug Court, Felony DUI Court, Mental Health Court and Competency Court. My current dockets include Civil and Criminal matters, and I serve as a Settlement Conference Judge for Business Court cases and am a founding member of the District Court’s Judicial Education Committee.
